Amphibian Aircraft

The catamaran design allows this amphibian aircraft to handle incredibly well in the water and offers reduced drag in the air. The seaplane pictures of the amphibian aircraft, 329Amphibian, show it's unique ability to handle the water portion extremely well.

Unlike any other amphibian aircraft or seaplane, this twin hull seaplane design provides for a wide center of gravity with increased stability. Flying the 329Amphibian will provide the sportsman or the military a unique advantage over any other seaplane manufacturer.

The construction techniques and materials have allowed the engineering of the twin hulled catamaran amphibian to surpass the designs of most seaplane manufacturers. We have taken an entirely new design and have taken it to new limits. Look at other seaplane pictures or designs and you will see the inherent advantages. This is a unique design for an amphibian aircraft. The design will change as the project continues to develop. There is thought (not yet tested) to provide a step on the bottom of each hull to take advantage of the latest racing catamaran technology.

The ducted fan of the seaplane allow it to direct the force of the engine in a focused and targeted area. It will permit full throttle operation from the start, thus reducing the take off space required. This amphibian aircraft will perform better using the ducted fan with movable back planes. The exhaust end of the fan can be directed to control not only the defection for the pitch and yaw, but to direct the thrust of the engine.
 

The "Ring Airfoil" provides vectored thrust offering propulsion efficiencies while stabilizing both laterally and longitudinally.

Airplane manufacturers have been looking for a better solution to the water and air craft for quite some time. We have that better solution right now.

We have gone to great lengths to extend the usefulness of this particular design. Wanting to incorporate the best of previous designs. There is every reason to keep the best of breed, and then to add to it the best of the new materials and design philosophy. Lake amphibian has done a good job of keeping the older technology alive and well. We wanted to take the 329Amphibian to the next level.

Twin elliptical hulls from our catamaran design allows the plane to better travel on water and to be more efficient in the air. Sea trials from the models have proven the design to be as expected.

Our desire to create this plane came from a knowledge of what was currently available in the general aviation market place, including kit planes and what we knew was possible with today's engineering.

This design could be used by the sportsman, commuter, and the Navy Seals. Each of these have unique criteria for their needs, and each can be met with the 329Amphibian.
 

Beaching or docking the plane is facilitated by the wing section between the hulls.
